Installed on several different commercial tractors, far better than the standard antenna bought here at a truck stop for the same price. The cable is screwed on, removed and has a rubber grommet to protect the connection from the elements. Therefore, should the supplied cable ever become damaged, you can only replace the cable and not the entire antenna assembly. I think it's stupid that an antenna costs almost as much as a satellite receiver, but the receiver is worth nothing without it. I would buy it again and recommend it.
