Review on Mavis Miki Reusable Bamboo Towels: Heavy Duty, Money-Saving Kitchen Paper Replacement - Strong Absorbency, Zero Waste Lint-Free Unpaper Towel (Pack of 40) by Megan Spencer

Maybe I don't get it, but it just doesn't make sense

So, a roll, 20 sheets, should replace paper towels for 6 months? Six months is approximately 180 days. 180 divided by 20 equals 9. So one of these leaves lasts 9 days? Not in my kitchen/home. I have a set of about 30 kitchen towels that I mostly use in place of paper towels. These kitchen towels will not last more than 1 day before being washed. I tried one of these sheets and then washed it with other whites and a second, unused sheet. The sheets came out clean but ruined, like an old t-shirt that would fall apart due to age/wear. I would never go 9 days without washing at least half a dozen times and I don't think these sheets hold up to that kind of use/abuse. I love to cook and it shows in my kitchen: spilled cookie dough with coffee and chocolate chips in the morning, spilled mushroom soup in the early afternoon, sauces from dinner. I'm afraid these sheets just don't fit me. I'm glad others like them, but I don't keep dirty things in the kitchen and they have to be washed daily. Oh, they shrunk about 1/2-3/4 inch on each side after washing - I didn't tumble dry them, they air dry now. I buy a couple of barrags for $18 and use them until they fall apart - in a few years. Happen.
