Works as advertised - no problems.
This is exactly what I needed. After turning on DSL in our cabin, I noticed that all the phones just had static when you answered the phone. It would be nice if CenturyLink warned me about this. This device allowed me to split the signal coming out of the wall outlet so that one side of the split went to the new modem/router and the other side to the phone line. I also only got a filter without a jack connection, which was only used for a telephone.
