Reviews of this item speak for themselves. If you're looking for a fun building set for kids, look no further! I just have two small things to point out if you are wondering if this is the right purchase for you. 1-age range is much higher than 8 I would say. I did this with three kids, a robot each aged 4, 8 and 10. A 10 year old boy is a master Lego builder so he decided this would be to his liking. It even had a bit of an issue with the tiny size of screws/parts etc so don't discount kids over this age range! 2- If you want to do this with more than one child at a time, please note that there is only one instruction in the package. Patience ran out a little while we waited for everyone to almost finish. We ended up tearing out the pages for each set, but some of them overlap because they're double-sided. Otherwise great project and satisfaction for the kids when they see what they built really works!
