I have a Samsung TU9000 TV. I was looking for a backup remote in case the original remote died or had other problems. I looked around and found others cheaper than this one but they did NOT look exactly like my original. This looks EXACTLY like my original remote. Although some people have looked at this remote and said that it's not bluetooth and that some buttons (like the sound button) don't work because it's not actually bluetooth, I decided to give it a try anyway. I removed the batteries from the original remote and waited about a minute for the remote's capacitor to completely discharge. Then I connected this new one to the TV (it took 3 seconds). Then I tried all the buttons (including the sound button) and they all worked great! Now I decided to see if it really was a bluetooth remote, I took the remote ok. 30 feet from the TV to my porch. I closed the heavy, thick glass door on my porch and walked all the way to the corner. Then I tucked the remote control under my shirt and pressed the power button on the TV. If the remote actually was Bluetooth, the TV would turn on. I went back into the living room and the TV was on. So don't listen to reviews that say it's not a bluetooth remote because they're wrong! I am 100% satisfied with this remote control and when I use it on my TV it works just like the original.
