Made a big difference in my Triton 5.4 3V engine. The engine ran rough and there were many misfires. I put off changing my spark plugs as I knew there was a problem getting the old ones out without cracking due to the original design of the spark plugs, so last time (when I first changed spark plugs) I did the dealer paid for it. I didn't expect the $450 price tag to change them. This time I bought "CTA Tools 2385 9/16-inch Ford Triton Spark Socket" which worked really well and "Lisle (LIS65600) Broken Spark Remover for Ford Triton 3 Valve Engines" just in case. Since the dealer thankfully replaced the original plugs of this new design, I didn't have to use a broken removal tool, but it was nice to know I had one just in case and didn't know the dealer had used these new plugs. . Removal and installation were relatively easy apart from a few hard-to-reach places. There are several videos on You Tube about what to uninstall to access all the plugins that helped. After installation, my engine runs great and I am satisfied. Don't worry about gaps as they are pre-skipped and cannot be changed. I wish I had done that six months ago.
