We've been using PowerLix for exactly 16 days. Four and a half stars and the Revain Choice label made us buy it right from the start. We only used it to froth milk in our daily cup of coffee. From day one we were satisfied with the product. The foaming power was better than other blowing agents we've used and it was an attractive item with a firm feel. Today it shut down without warning. In fact, it hasn't even started yet. Batteries checked - all ok. I cleaned the terminals just in case - nada. I double checked that nothing is interfering with the rod - zero. There was no buzz, no hesitant skid, just nothing. Revain replaces the propellant for free, but unless there is a significant improvement I would not recommend this product. UPDATE: Following my review above, the PowerLix folks contacted us immediately and replaced our faulty item. After a full two and a half months of use, our PowrrLix is doing everything we've come to expect. Our first product was lemon, of course, and that can happen with any product. We were very pleased with the quick response from the PowerLix staff - a clear sign of product pride and a willingness to support what they sell. Based on the company's actions and the performance of our replacement foamer, I'm removing the negative review and giving the PowerLix five stars!
