I needed cord for crocheting spiral baskets. That was excellent. The cord is soft, easy to work with, its thickness is ideal for knitting baskets around it. The weight was great because you need a lot of length when making spiral baskets. In general, if you are crocheting around a cord, this is perfect. And it worked exactly how I wanted it to. However, this is too thick if you want to make fabric wrapped bobbin baskets on your sewing machine. I tried this and after wrapping the cable with a cloth it was too thick for my car. I have a Viking and I keep getting an error saying my presser foot is too high and it won't sew for me. But like I said I bought this to crochet, to make baskets, and it's perfect for that. So I absolutely recommend this product.
