If you have a compatible Sony TV like me (A90J) you can use the TV's speaker as the front center of the system. All of this is made possible by Sony's proprietary "S-Center" connector, not just an audio cable that can be used with any TV. He even offered to share my TV's Wi-Fi settings with the HT-A9 during the initial setup. If you don't have a compatible Sony TV, the HT-A9 creates a "virtual center".
