Review on 6 5 Car Audio Speaker Midrange by Ronnie Segobiano

I wish I could put zero. I would compare them to the speakers that come with Target's 29.00 home stereo. They produce sound, but to say that they produce even little quality would be an overstatement of their performance. No quality is an apt term for them. At the same time, they have huge magnets, rubber cones and they look great. They fit snugly in my stereo boxes that used to have 6.5 inch speakers. I was so happy with the mount and the look and then wired it up. What a disappointment. One of the boxes was old, faded and previously opened so I don't know if they were returned or what. By the way, it's not just the bass that's bad, but also the mids and such. I've tried boosting and cutting the mids, bass and treble to get a decent sound, but they are terrible. I'd say cheap standard 4x6 car speakers would outperform them. I'm not going to take them out of the boxes, take them out and return them, so I might donate the speakers to those who keep them. BTW, I hooked up slam infinity home tweeters to it and the speakers still suck. I used to have old cracked 6.5 foam speakers in boxes. The foam actually cracked and these sounded better than these.
