One speaker, not a pair

Not the best quality and the price reflects this. My main concern is that the main image shows two speakers and the description is misleading. You have to read the reviews and questions to know this is a speaker. THIS IS A speaker!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Very pleasant sound. in automotive and automotive electronics

For the price you really can't go wrong. Using them as a midrange replacement for my sts 1500 optimus speakers. I did a side by side comparison and they sound great. Very close to the original. I also upgraded my 15 with a bunch. Very nice sound for the money.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Useless features

Beautiful but not universal!

Beautiful loudspeaker, only 1 piece packed. But it won't fit in the front door if the door leaf isn't trimmed. It's too deep in there.+ You have to get a spacer for the starter, otherwise I just don't know what to cut for the door panels.

Pros
  • Finished
Cons
  • Trade-in possible

THE? Why 1? Who only sells 1 speaker

There are 2 speakers in the photo. I think I should have read the reviews. I think I will return this 1 speaker. Need 2. And I don't spend $40 on speakers. It's an old car, worthless, and I don't need an audio system. Take a picture and change it into a speaker.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Too long to wait

That it's ONLY ONE SPEAKER and no speakers

To be honest, nothing has ever impressed me so much. Firstly the description speaks of speakers and not speakers as they should be rather than luring in people who expect to get 2 but on delivery find out it's only one. Also the sound quality sucks, there is no bass and the sound is distorted, tried touching minus and plus and that didn't help either. Very dissatisfied

Great for the price

I've had 4 of these 6.5" midrange drivers in all 4 doors of my Blazer for about 3 months. Each speaker operates at 75 watts RMS. You sound great. Excellent sound quality and I couldn't get them to distort even at max volume. I have to turn it down because my ears hurt too much. The only problem I had with the installation was the installation depth. Depth before installation, and as a result, the back of the speakers interfered with the window in the door. I had to make some spacers to fit…

Very good mids are good for coaxial speakers

I bought two of these to replace my old speaker boxes. I chose this model mainly because it fits my cabinets perfectly, but also because I had previously used their smaller 5-1/4" model and was happy with them. They sound great and are well made. They are designed for professional amplified applications so they can handle massive amounts of power without distortion or burn-in.Another reason they worked for me is the sealed back design. My speakers don't have a chamber to seal the midrange from…

Just awful, I mean awful

I wish I could put zero. I would compare them to the speakers that come with Target's 29.00 home stereo. They produce sound, but to say that they produce even little quality would be an overstatement of their performance. No quality is an apt term for them. At the same time, they have huge magnets, rubber cones and they look great. They fit snugly in my stereo boxes that used to have 6.5 inch speakers. I was so happy with the mount and the look and then wired it up. What a disappointment. One…
