I use this stand to give my MacBook a comfortable viewing height. When I'm working longer than 30 minutes, it makes a big difference to look straight ahead and not down. The walnut color on the stand looks great and feels solid. I also like how my keyboard can be stored in a stand. I recommend rubber bumpers at the top and bottom. Bumpers are required on the top to prevent the computer from sliding. At the very bottom you also need to protect your table. There were four bumpers in the kit, but really they should have been enough for both the top and bottom.
