You're fine, but there are serious problems. First, they don't let air through. They'll make you sweat more than the fabric or high quality original material your OEM used. These covers also have the problem of not fitting my seat backs and always losing tension at the top and falling off, drastically reducing comfort. I taped them at the top to keep them in place. The fastening system is very cheap, little plastic clips that don't hold any tension. In order for the cover to conform to the shape of the base seat, you need to put a lot of tension on the material. Not only is this extremely difficult with cheap plastic clips, they also break if you do it. All in all, I highly recommend having your seats professionally reupholstered rather than going for the cheap option. Recommend fabric covers over it because the fabric is more breathable and comfortable. I will also say that I have had these cases for about a year now and they are not durable at all. Mine came undone at the seams and as I said, some of the plastic clips were already broken.
