Solid adapter. Three is the magic number. Stay grounded.

The ground prong is a rarity among UK to US travel adapters available in the US. If you need to plug in your UK device don't risk not having the ground prong. In my case it was an Apple Thunderbolt monitor that needed to 'see' the unit was properly grounded before I could convert the cable to the US one. Silly Apple and their smart people.
