Replacement ASO Valve for Watts 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis System

I can confirm that this ASO valve is suitable for replacing the 1/4" pipe ASO valve used in 4th generation - Staged Watts reverse osmosis filtration system is used. After installing Replacement, I learned some tips for those who wanted to save some money by using a "non-standard" or "foreign" replacement part for ANY reverse osmosis system. supply lines in your reverse osmosis system. This product is only compatible with 1/4 inch hose. Install the ASO valve correctly. If you're installing this ASO valve as a replacement for a non-APEC reverse osmosis system like I did, the connector colors may not match. The blue collet on the inlet side of the ASO valve connects to the COLD WATER SOURCE The white connector connects to your reverse osmosis tank From there, simply connect the "outside” and keep the tube color scheme. You'll likely hear the system working, as well as the draining sound, which may have put you down this path in the first place. correct and there are no other problems in your system, the ASO valve should trip once the correct pressure is reached in the system and the water stops flowing. ASO. WILL WORK! IT MAY TAKE 5-10 MINUTES. IF THE WATER CONTINUES DRAINING AFTER 5-10 MINUTES, THE VALVE MAY BE DEFECTIVE OR THERE IS ANOTHER CAUSE THAT YOUR RO SYSTEM IS NOT REACHING ENOUGH PRESSURE! Conclusion: After installing the ASO valve, the system must be repressurized before it stops draining, and this can take 5-10 minutes. Don't expect the water to stop draining right away. If the reverse osmosis tank is pressurized, it may need to be repressurized. When the tank is filled with water it should read at least 40psi. Hope that helps!
