This space heater not only does an amazing job, it is quite beautiful to look at with the wood finish.I've had a similar style before, although this one's nicer than the older one that I had.It comes in a box. It weighs about 15 lb and is packed very well with foam all around.The cord on this thing is the thickest cord I have ever seen on a heater like this. Most 1500 watt heaters have cords that are not this thick.After running it today, I am so pleased with how quiet it runs. I think it's partially because the fan is inside a wooden box, but this makes less fan noise than any heater that I have or have used recently.This will be perfect for having in a bedroom and not interrupting your sleep.I am also impressed that it comes with a touch panel you can use if you don't have the remote. The front panel is very colorful and is all touch sensitive so it can make any of the adjustments on the heater. To me that's very important. I do not like appliances that stop functioning if the remote breaks. So to me it is a big factor.This has an Eco mode that they claim only uses 300 watts and it maintains or tries to maintain a temperature of 68°.It has timers built into it so you can really customize the way it operates.The wood finish is very nice, nicer than I expected.It has safety mechanisms like tip over switch which I kind of thought was amusing because this thing is so heavy. I can't imagine anyone tipping it over.And that's the safety factor. I also makes it very safe from getting accidentally tipped or moved around, it may stub your toe, though.This is going to replace a couple of more modern looking heaters because I really like the look and I really love this quiet fan. Highly recommended
