CHECK THE NEEDLE!

CHECK THE NEEDLES! (It's worth repeating.) Make sure the blunt ends of the beak are firmly connected to the shaft of the needle. Also check for burrs/sharp rough edges. The bell on the 18ga needle slipped off with a little test force/wiggle (see pic). Needless to say, for a life-saving tool, this can be deadly. I will try once. again with replacement.
