I bought this to replace a Kenwood CD player. I really wanted something that could control my phone's music, easily connect and disconnect, and allow me to add custom wiring. it does everything! The BT range outside the car is terrible - meaning no random "wait, my phone picked up" and no more music while you're inside the house without knowing it. There are plenty of options (rear camera, aux-in, video controls, etc.) which means a lot of wiring harnesses to deal with. It's not a problem for me, but worth knowing about. The only downside was trying to install. Hole pattern not standardized, so the Scosche installation kit was a waste of money. I'll end up 3D printing what I want because nothing else will work with it. Overall I would buy it again and allow more time to install and polish.
