Review on πŸ’¦ Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser for Travel & Home, Battery Operated, Portable & ADA Accepted - Cordless Express, WF-02 (White) by Scott Bailey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

efficient but almost too powerful; additional bottom adjustment needed

I have several dental floss. I have my trusty companion, the Waterpik Wired/Pluggable Irrigator, which I really like. I have a few cordless (rechargeable) dental floss from other manufacturers that work quite well. When the battery-powered wireless Waterpik came out as an option, I was curious enough to jump on it. If I could only use one of my current options, I would still choose my wired one. More water capacity, multiple settings, you never have to worry about charging or looking for batteries. If you only need an irrigator, I would go for the wired model. If you need more flexibility and space, then wireless is the right choice. Be prepared to refill the water tank 2-3 times. No big deal, and it's SUPER easy to make (my others, not so much). I wired mine up in the large upstairs bathroom and I need a good cable for my tiny downstairs bathroom which is so small it doesn't have a countertop let alone an outlet to plug anything into. With two settings and a battery. worked, I thought it might be weak dental floss. It's not like this. It's powerful. I could barely get by on the lowest settings, let alone other settings I didn't dare try. Get ready for a water storm. Will have to get used to it. Apparently I keep my flossing at a gentler level because at low levels it was definitely ruining my gums and teeth. As with any floss, start with the nozzle in your mouth and tilt your head over the sink as you turn it on. Now is not the time to look at your teeth in the mirror like you might brush or floss your teeth. I'm a big fan of professional cleaning every 4 months and deep cleaning every day. . Before bed, I always use a sonic electric toothbrush, conditioner, occasional floss (flossing is still recommended), and a germicidal conditioner. During the day I brush with a regular toothbrush, sometimes with dental floss and if I remember - with water. The water thread is quite amazing and very effective. I like this watering thread. I don't travel much but I would take this with me if I plan to be out all day or actually travel. I prefer this to the packaging of my larger wired device. Overall, it's smaller, but not tiny. I wish there was a pocket to store it or a place to store an extra attachment. The device is waterproof, which is great for use in the shower. I personally like that it's battery operated and the packaging says it should last 6-8 weeks if used by 1 person once a day. It uses 3 AA batteries, they are included. Comes with 2 nozzles - both are the same. I like that there is enough curve to get to the back of the mouth. Holding is convenient and easy. soft variant. However, this is only to the left and right of the middle of the pressure spectrum (as shown in the box). I'm pretty sure it's not the same level of pressure on my wired Waterpik. Shot #1 is pretty intense here, and shot #2 is even more intense. I'm pretty sure I could wash something with that. It may take a while to get used to, but I wasn't expecting this since I've been using dental floss for a long time. If it had a different print option (softer) I would choose a 5 star rating. Otherwise I really like everything about it. 4/5 I'll be back if I learn something else or if I never get used to the pressure I'll be back to update. Edit: I'm concluding that the lowest level here is comparable to level 8 (out of 10) on a wired irrigator. The highest setting on wireless is stronger than the highest setting on my wired.
