The interface looks like it's easy to keep clean. Easy enough to install, cleaned a freshly painted harmonic balancer with rubbing alcohol (no, not whiskey, rubbing). "0" to find top dead center (see many youtube videos on how to do this, it's easy). The rebuilt engine has not run yet so I cannot vouch for how well it will hold up in service. Seen where someone has used clear coat for recent work I might do an extra hold attempt as I have spare bands to test how the bands hold up to the paint (no blisters etc). The price was right.
