These lights look spectacular when on. Everyone groans and gasps. With no backlight, they look like polished chrome. The cords are a bit wavy, but I think they'll get pretty straight with time. One of the spheres is a slightly different color and we placed it in the middle. I don't think it affects the look of the headlights. We installed it ourselves and it was fairly easy, but the single black wire that the light hangs from and wraps around the black and white wires wasn't hollow. It was solid and the black and white wires were very close together. So if you need to trim the cable at all, you will most likely cut either the black or the white or both where you expose the cable (which we did). If you don't have much experience with electricity I would suggest hiring an electrician to do the installation. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and you can't beat the price as you get 3 bulbs instead of what other single bulbs cost.
