I purchased this elbow as the start of the tubing I was running my pins through. I bought a standard T. There were two ways to attach a pex pipe to a T. Research has shown that clamps are the best choice. BUT, they required a special tool that I didn't want to buy. I managed to compress them using different tools. I needed another T because I decided to add a third bib. This time I bought Sharkbite T https://amzn.to/31xsOH4. i love it a lot more No special tools are required. In fact, no tools are required as long as you cut a nice, even end of the pex pipe. Just paste it. Firmly. Ready. It costs extra money.
