As a product this works great - I have a 1500psi Greenworks washing machine (NOT THAT powerful) and its foam is nice and thick. By the way, I have a relatively large SUV and I filled the bottle up to half (first line with soap, the rest with hot water up to half) and it covered the whole car for a time and a half. Don't fill it up completely for just one machine! The handle on top is for dispensing WATER, not soap, which is counterintuitive if you ask me. So if you want more foam, turn it to minus. For me I left it at full minus (maximum foam) and it was spot on. The "proper" process is to soap the car, then pressure wash it, followed by a contact wash with a sponge. This should remove any impurities that might swirl the paint. To be honest, I didn't really care. I think in the future I will wash the car with water under pressure just to remove large impurities, then I foam it and I wash it in contact with foam on the car. In my experience, lathering and then rinsing isn't that important to cleaning a car, and rinsing with a pressure washer alone does more work than foam. YMMV Plus, lathering the car is fun!
