In general a very good salad bowl. First of all, keep in mind that the small version is only big enough for 1-2 lettuce leaves. I was more concerned with shelf space, so I'm happy to sling a few batches, but for those just interested in saving time, a larger version might work for you. I've included a photo of a standard 12 ounce soda can to indicate the size. The push mechanism (rather than a rotating handle) is convenient for storage as it reduces the overall surface area of the spinner. It is also the best solution for people with grip problems (e.g. arthritis) as the rotating mechanism is very easy to press. You get a good spin speed that's definitely enough to get most of the water off your food, but it's not as fast as the handle design. While the spinner looks very good for a budget kitchen gadget, it does have a few design flaws. I want it fixed. First, the base is made of hard hard plastic. This results in a very weak connection between the spinner and your spinner. Since in most cases your lettuce will not be perfectly balanced in the bait, the smooth bottom will not dampen the vibrations of the bait during use. The rest of the lure is also completely smooth so there are no good spots to grab and steady the lure with wet hands when using it. These are minor complaints and I would still recommend the lure to anyone especially those with grip strength. Advantages: - Clear plastic makes it easy to see when water has been removed from the product - Large knob is easier to use than a knob for those with aging joints or injuries that limit grip - Small size takes up less space in closets - Lightweight but doesn't feel cheap or brittle when in use - Quiet operation Cons: - Bottom is slippery on smooth countertops - Lack of texture on the spinner makes it difficult to steady with wet hands - Salad doesn't taste as good as steak
