As this is a "small" version, it doesn't hold much. Good for leafy greens, chopped veggies and fruit, and will make a few side dishes for a week (serves two) or a salad or two with meat (again, serves two). In general a very good salad bowl. First of all, keep in mind that the small version is only big enough for 1-2 lettuce leaves. I was more concerned with shelf space, so I'm happy to sling a few batches, but for those just interested in saving time, a larger version might work for you. This product will make your lettuce drier which means it will last much longer. It also makes it easy to wash and store the lettuce right in the bowl!
