One thing I've learned over the years is that elegant, fragile and expensive glassware just loves to break. You own it for a year and lose a lot of money. Maybe keep a few of these for special occasions. For my everyday essentials, I want something that looks and feels good, but won't break if I look at it the wrong way. It fits the criteria perfectly. They are affordable. not cheap." Cheap means crap. I love the feel of them so much that I now drink mostly wine out of them too, not just brandy. The lower center of gravity than a wine glass means it's not as easy to tip who over do you care what you're drinking from any glass when no one is looking? ;) I've included photos to show the relative size when you're holding it.
