My dog's neck is permanently black from worn metal.
I have a white bull terrier and have tried all of the Herm Sprenger metal collars, even the black coated metal collars and all left a worn black metal ring around my white dog after a few days. Also, in less than a month, the black coating has aged to black.
- HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG: Measure your dog's neck and add 2 inches. These collars are not adjustable and should slide over the dog's head. The manufacturer specifies the total length of the clamp including both end caps. Please note that the actual size of this collar is given in cm and is then converted and rounded to the nearest inch.
