I really liked this brush from the start. My main gripe was that the color on the product page was nowhere near purple, but I was still ok with that. A few of the top bristles were bent due to packaging, but they can easily be straightened. Everything was going great for about 4-5 months when I noticed the tips of the coated bristles falling off the brush. They get ripped off the brush when brushing the hair (and I have thin hair). I've only used heat with a brush a few times since working from home, so not from excessive heat. I initially liked this brush, but I've never had coated brush tips that break so easily. I have a 10 year old Conair brush with all coated tips. I am very disappointed in the quality of this brush. It's not worth the cost.
