Black plastic on one end, on the other end containing the ignition switch. the opposite end (using a screwdriver or similar) to simulate inserting and turning a key to loosen the black plastic. I did this by crouching with one knee against the wall for balance, placing the housing between my knees (so my hands were free), and then using a screwdriver to push the spring-loaded piece in the center of the ignition switch housing and twist the locking mechanisms. This may be confusing, but the gist is this. to simulate inserting a key, rotating and unlocking the internal components and exposing the black plastic. Do not use brute force to pull out the suction cup, no need to disassemble the black plastic. All this is done mechanically in a metal case!
