
I wanted to verify the nonstick claim, so I took a chance and poured lemon ricotta donut batter into this pan without oiling it. As soon as I put the pan in the oven, I was like, 'Oh my god, what have I done? I crossed my fingers and waited 12 long minutes while the donuts baked. As soon as the timer rang, I pulled the donuts out of the oven, prayed to the baking gods, and flipped the pan over to a cooling rack. A few gentle shakes and bam. Undamaged donuts lie peacefully on the counter just begging to be glazed. Success! I lightly greased the pan for the remaining donuts, but only to get a crispier result on the bottom of the donut. Yes, the donuts are a little smaller than the standard size, but that didn't bother me. Who Needs Extra Calories?
