Best value for money in furniture

Update (2/6/20): This chair is almost 2 years old now and is still holding up pretty well. The mesh cushion is a bit sunken but still comfortable. Despite other reviews of broken base legs, mine held up perfectly. The back netting is still solid and has great support for me. The armrests are still stable despite my initial concerns. The only annoyance I had was the backrest bolt knot. I'm not sure if nuts were supposed to come along but they should as I had to retighten them every 1-2 weeks if I didn't want the rear end to wobble when it was supposed to. snap. Eventually I got angry enough to just go to the hardware store and find something that would work. That was a few months ago and I haven't had to tighten them since. YMMV.============================================ = === ================================== Original review: I needed a replacement for my 10 summer office chair so I thought, I would at least get a decent replacement. Received it in the mail a few days ago and so far I have no regrets. Pros: 1. It is very comfortable to sit for more than a few hours (my old chair caused slight back pain after sitting for an hour). Breathable mesh back keeps my hot office cool.2. Easy to follow instructions. It only took me 30 minutes to assemble. I suggest attaching the rear end to the bottom bracket before mounting it to the seat unless you have a second person around to help. You can also check the seals before starting construction. Few of them will fit the larger screws (I had to remove 3 screws to get the spacers I needed).3. Everything included that is required for assembly. They've even added a pair of mesh gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty! The mostly metal construction seems to be very robust and durable. The height-adjustable armrests are very comfortable. Especially if, like me, you regularly switch between tables of different heights. The wheels are very quiet and roll easily. If I want, I can drive around the office in complete silence. Cons: 1. At the time of receipt, the box was badly crumpled. I don't blame Duramont for that, but it sucks when a moderately priced item comes in such tattered packaging.2. The chair has a very strong chemical smell. I let it air out overnight and it helped, but I definitely need to keep doing this for a few more days. It may not bother you, but it gave me a headache.3. The armrests feel a little wobbly. This isn't because the mount is loose, it's because the lifting mechanism isn't very tight. That's probably good, but I'm wondering how long they'll last. Overall I'm happy with it so far. I've sat on similarly priced more expensive chairs and this chair is not far behind. It's definitely worth the extra money compared to the regular office chairs you find everywhere. I'll update this review in the future depending on how well the chair holds up, but I think it should be fine in the long run. For your health!
