The same day I received the Mac60, I climbed onto the roof and took the photos you see in this review with my phone. Remember that most ground targets are at least 3 miles away and some are 10-20 miles away. I am amazed at the optical quality of this little gem. I've had 50-90mm refractors since childhood and they're normal, but the sharpness and lack of optical aberrations of Maksutov's design is amazing. You can push the limit and still get a decent picture. I like the box it came in. Very well packaged and protected. The box features real photos of what you can see with it (no long exposures) and comes with a very informative and well-written manual. The construction is solid and the fact that you can open it up and see the inside is a big plus. I like the turquoise whistle. I needed a small, lightweight telescope that could be taken anywhere for ground and astronomy viewing, and it was perfect for that. The eyepiece is good and fits exactly on the mobile phone adapter. The picture is much better than photos when you look straight through. The human eye can perceive many more colors and details. The moon looks amazing, you can see a lot of details. The stars look beautiful, no artificial colors or ghost halos. I can't wait to look at Jupiter and Saturn. The tripod is durable and easy to use. You can also attach it to any tripod that uses standard photo threads. In my opinion this telescope can compete with any 70mm or 80mm lens for the money. Thank you Sarblue for an amazing quality tool. I love all the little details that went into it. It's a keeper!
