These "tool-less" rib bolts work well; They seemed like a nice luxury and as a same day item they helped complete another order that I wanted to receive same day. I was very happy with the purchase. I remove the fin after each session (to make stacking multiple boards easier in my Subaru Outback) and have had no trouble installing or removing the fin. Initially I was concerned that these screws would bind and be difficult to remove by hand, but that wasn't a problem, although I can see some rust on the threads and base. I suspect that deleting it frequently will help avoid capture problems. I also had no problem loosening them after the session - I put them on with my hand with a reasonable amount of force, without trying too hard. I would recommend them if you want to easily switch fins on your longboard. I've only used one so far, it's nice to get three to have backups or to replace screws on some of my other boards. The o-ring still seems to be holding the screw in place after about 2 months of regular weekend sessions.
