Unless you're an idiot.

Easy to work with, good length, narrow width compared to the wider pan head screws I've had and had no problems with them. I used the hole in my FCS surf keychain to tighten the screw when only my fingers were making it difficult. I hope this advice helps someone. Not all Centerfin adapters are the same depth, so some people may feel the product is short. If you have surf fin adapters installed or even own multiple longboards with different center adapters, you should know this.

Perfect replacement/backup!

When I went to the lake for the weekend I found that I had lost the fin that came with the Hala board. I'm sometimes skeptical about ordering from Revain because of all the fake reviews (hard to tell what's really good), but I pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did because I just tested them and they are perfect. Solid hardware, good fit and easy installation. Another reviewer mentioned that they were too short for their board, but I assume they need to be custom sized as they fit my previous…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Periodicity

I use this fin screw on a few of my boards that need them. They work well, but make sure you button them up nice and tight. When first tightening I didn't apply too much torque because I didn't want to overload the fin box. Luckily I realized that the screw fell to the ground while unloading the board and wasn't lost. When I reinstalled it I made sure it was much better tightened. I also did the same when installing it on my SUP and now it seems to be holding up well. It's a nice plus that you…

Perfect (Surfset Jetsetter)

This is perfect. This year I bought a PuraVita surfset jetsetter for use on Lake Superior and elsewhere. The very first day I played the waves I lost the screw that came with the board and almost a fin! My local store was closed so I ended up here. I feel the set of three was good value for money and the instillation was brainless. It seems very secure, love the addition of a paddle/O-ring (don't know what to call it). My biggest suggestion/question is how the heck can I carry a spare without…

A real improvement over my original setup.

This screw makes attaching a fin to my rowing board a lot easier. The kit included a Phillips head screw and square nut that needed to be installed in a specific way. You'll need either a small screwdriver or something strong to tighten it properly. This nut is a square nut, you insert it after inserting the fin, line up the holes, insert the screw, tighten and voila. Its design makes it easy to handle and I haven't lost a single detail yet. I always keep an extra nut and bolt in my bag just in

There are hardly enough screws. Worked but only after 20 disappointments

First I want you to know that they worked in the end but only after about 20 minutes per board we have 2, playing around with different things to hold the nut in place to insert the bolt. The screw needs to be longer. We ended up using an earbud on a pair of sunglasses to hold the nut high enough for the bolt to reach and catch. If the screw were a little longer it would fit perfectly and that would be 5 stars. I'm only giving it 3 stars because it seems like this design hasn't been researched…

Excellent replacement for a tool-less rib bolt

These "tool-less" rib bolts work well; They seemed like a nice luxury and as a same day item they helped complete another order that I wanted to receive same day. I was very happy with the purchase. I remove the fin after each session (to make stacking multiple boards easier in my Subaru Outback) and have had no trouble installing or removing the fin. Initially I was concerned that these screws would bind and be difficult to remove by hand, but that wasn't a problem, although I can see some…
