This screw makes attaching a fin to my rowing board a lot easier. The kit included a Phillips head screw and square nut that needed to be installed in a specific way. You'll need either a small screwdriver or something strong to tighten it properly. This nut is a square nut, you insert it after inserting the fin, line up the holes, insert the screw, tighten and voila. Its design makes it easy to handle and I haven't lost a single detail yet. I always keep an extra nut and bolt in my bag just in case. My only issue is that people with thumbs have to use a screw to position the nut to match the rib hole. But this is the best design I've found so far. Thanks very much!
