I originally bought this as a bird bath but my cockatiels that I have two are too long for it so I returned it. Then I bought it again to use as a feeder and it worked great. My feathered babies make a mess when eating and most of the pellets stay on the bottom but now there is no mess and lots of seeds to feast on. At first they were skeptical, but since they were very curious, they gave it a try. Both love it! It's fun to watch them. I wish it was wider, but then again, my 'Tiels make everything together. Easy assembly, just look at the picture.
