I have many beautiful knives in my kitchen. I've never owned a nakiri knife before, and I was eager to try it out. I'm quite pleased with the result.This knife is of good quality. It's well balanced, and not too heavy. I have small hands, but I was still able to hold and use the knife without and problems.I found it to be ideal for quick, uniform chopping of vegetables. The blade acts like something between and chef's knife and a cleaver.The damascus steel is lovely, though it could have arrived a little bit sharper.Overall, this is a very nice knife which I am happy to have added to my collection.
