Quiet and easy to install. If you are unfamiliar with disassembling laptops, you can find a YouTube video to help you do it. The connector for the old fan and new fan was a little tight on the connector, but it's easy enough to unplug the old and new. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now it's working better. and with less noise than the original fan ever made. While opening the case, I would recommend replacing your old hard drive with an SSD. It REALLY improved the performance of my old laptop. Search the internet for ways to mirror an existing drive to an SSD.
