Review on DREAM PAIRS Insulated Waterproof 🌨️ Snow Boots for Boys and Girls by Brian Price

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Cold, wet feet on my review.

These boots were a big disappointment in many ways. I bought 2 pairs for my 2 kids and both pairs have the same issues. Problem No. 1, the biggest and most important – the shoes somehow lose water and the children's feet get wet and cold! We only use them for playing in the snow for no more than an hour or two at a time, in normal snow, not jumping in puddles or stomping through mud. Just go sledding or build a snowman. And already after a pair of socks and without any visible damage, the shoes began to leak! They are VERY difficult to dry inside. They will take about a week if you just leave them at room temperature. I've tried putting them in the dryer but they keep coming out! I had to press something very heavy against the dryer door to keep it closed so the boots could dry. A few more hours dry. Problem number 2, also very annoying: the flash doesn't last! They slide down, the boots come off and fall off the children's feet. This isn't a problem if they're wearing winter pants and the pants' elastic is over the boot, but if they're wearing boots to school in regular clothes, the boots won't stay. Children have complained that when they run, their boots take off during the break, then they step on the muddy ground in their socks and their feet are wet, even if the boots aren't leaking. I tried securing the zippers with strong safety pins, but the pins kept bending and falling out. There must be a tab or something similar to keep the zipper head from falling off! Problem #3, less severe than the other two but enough to rub in: Elastic thread is a joke! It disintegrated within a few days. Impossible to tighten the boot or something like that, it just breaks and falls off. All in all these boots have a lot of issues, they are not worth the money and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Pros
  • My daughter chose them and they fit perfectly and are very cute.
Cons
  • Boots may not be suitable for children with wide or narrow feet.
