I am posting this information because I looked for it before making the purchase. I didn't get any clear feedback from anyone. I took a chance, tried it on my device and it works great. My computer is a Dell Optiplex 9020 with Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics. The display port is only on the back of the computer, no HDMI. I didn't know if I needed an active or passive adapter. no one has definitely posted anywhere if this will work. My review is intended to help those who are in my situation and are looking for answers. Yes, in this case it works perfectly.
