The M1 MacBook Pro allows you to use two of them at the same time. I had another "magnetic proof" adapter but it was double wide so I could use both USB-C ports. I threw it away. Because of their size, both ports can work at the same time. I use them with an Anker 9 in 2 hub. The hub connects to a MacBook M1 and I plug these adapters into two Anker USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. The power transmission works perfectly. I use USB-A for external drives. A USB=C with this adapter powers external drives and laptops. A second magnetic adapter connects a second monitor to Anker and my M1.
