Sirui ball head I have had for many years. I really like K-40. I also had two sets of SIrui tripods and liked the first one, but this one is complete rubbish in my humble opinion. Why? 1. The center post consists of two parts and these two parts are attached with a bag/cargo hook. Every time the bag hook comes off (which has happened twice in 3 times in normal use in my garage), the same thing happens to the two piece post, and then the whole post and the camera attached to it wobbles as it's all pulled out. Feet too close together in basic position. How really shaky. A breeze would make it a shake.3. The center console again. Even if tightened, it will catch on the strut bushing when extending/retracting the B-pillar. This is very annoying.4. Back to the legs: when loosening to lengthen the legs, the monopod leg loosens at the top and I had to re-tighten it every time I needed to lengthen that leg. Retraction was ok as it just proxy tightened the monopod.5. I like the K-20 ball head and will buy it separately but not this tripod. 4 stars for the ball head and 2 stars for this kit because of the tripod.
