I have a small shower room with three walls and a glass door and it is very dark. The handyman wanted $250 to light a candle there. It seemed like a cheaper alternative. I was skeptical at first, when I turned it on it didn't seem bright enough. Once I installed it in the shower. it perfectly illuminates the space inside. I'm surprised at how sensitive the motion detection is. I assume it's infrared. The light is set about 2 feet above the edge of the shower screen. (Imagine it's a closet with a glass door, so it's all the way up and not facing the bathroom at all. If you walk past the shower, it stumbles, so it turns on and off frequently when you're in the bathroom .Not really a I hope the battery lasts.
