I liked that it was easy to pair the transmitter to the receivers. There are a large variety of dings, chimes and songs to choose from. They are loud, but not anywhere near the volume they boast. Despite that, we can hear them easily anywhere in the house, so it does a good job at that. My wife is hard of hearing so if she is satisfied, then it should be good for anyone. These are the plug-in kind. We just plugged in and selected the tune, paired the second receiver and secured the button to the outside of the house. On the second day, the tape let loose so I had to screw it down, but it comes with two screws to install it. I installed it where my old doorbell button was. It is much wider than the old button and not as long. This was not a problem for me, but if you do not have a wide area for this button, you may have placement issues. This button is a bit wider than 1 inch.
