I added 5 mpg for parts
Not sure how it worked but I installed this filter at home and then changed the oil with a 10W-30 full synthetic. I got 18 mpg and after a few days I noticed my mpg was around 23 mpg. I've been watching it every day for the past few days and I'm still getting 22.2mpg. I don't know if it was the air filter, an oil change, or both, but I'm happy with my results. I drive a 2011 Cadillac CTS.
