As I read on the Internet, this is due to the lack of a film, which then gradually forms on its own (or you can speed up the process by adding the hygienic additive that comes with the kit). As a result, you look and don’t understand why you paid off the money for which you can buy a good smartphone. Specifically, in my case, it was so that earlier I had Boneco Air-O-Swiss W2055D at home, and at work - just Venta LW45. As a result, Boneco got me (which I wrote in detail in the review), and I decided to buy a second Venta for my home. What was my surprise that despite the smaller amount of space and higher temperature due to less air exchange with the street, the humidity at home was consistently lower than at work, even after several days when the furniture had to absorb all the moisture. I began to suspect the device of incorrect operation, contacted the service center. They said that after 10 days a film should already be formed and without the addition of a hygiene additive, that the device should work at full capacity. True, their concepts of full power are slightly different than mine - in the 2nd (medium) mode, it must evaporate the entire tank per day, while the experience of using the device at work shows that it is capable of more. As a result of such work, I wanted to hand over the device and buy Winia AWX-70 (this device is cheaper and seems to be more productive, but more bulky and noisy). The store, however, questioned the inefficiency of the device and said that, according to the law "On the Protection of Consumer Rights", they are ready to conduct an examination at their own expense - but if it shows that the device is in order, I will have to compensate for the costs of it. Taking into account the conversation with the service center, I realized that I did not get a positive result, and decided not to try my luck and keep the device.
