Because our screen door was damaged, we had a problem with house flies. For $24 this seems like a good buy. It's been a little over a week since we started this and we're very happy with it. You will know exactly when the bug will be destroyed because it is quite loud! Insects are hit harder at night when they are attracted to the only light source. No idea of long-term reliability.
