Tape is a fabric that is folded over itself and taped together. In just 15 days the fabric on the buckle side has already started to separate from itself at the junction of the ends under the loop. This makes it difficult to thread the ribbon through the loop. This watch/bracelet is designed for everyday wear and running. The only exposure to water occurs when the user washes their hands. The watch/bracelet is not used for swimming and is not worn in the shower. The strap (if it doesn't snap) felt good. However, it's not strong enough to recommend.
