Much better than expected

I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews but no cat net had good reviews. I have a new mom cat and a kitten so I needed something to introduce her to my current cats so I decided to give it a try. It is well made and easy to assemble. If you have door frames, be careful. I have a 32" door, I ordered a 34" screen. When pulled taut, the sides barely hang down from the edges of the fairing, leaving no flat surface to lay on. I had to partially glue velcro to the skin and to the side of the skin. Sticking Velcro around the corner isn't ideal, so I used buttons as well. It won't go anywhere between Velcro and nails. I have hardwood floors so there was just enough edge to attach the floor with velcro. If you have carpets I'm not sure how easy it is to fix them. The floor is the most important place because cats try to crawl under it first. The zippers feel solid and the mesh is pretty stiff. As you can see in the photo, the kitten climbs on it and there is no damage. If you have adult cats with big and sharp claws, I could see them tearing. The velcro is also very strong so it will almost certainly peel the paint off. In general very satisfied. I have introduced many cats and this is by far the best option for introducing them. Baby gates just don't work for cat conceptions. Get another cat and try the screen!
