This block is very strong, well built and heavy. However, the supplied Velcro straps that serve to fix it to the arms of the treadmill are totally insufficient to support the weight and prevent the wood holder from slipping. I couldn't find a way to attach it that would prevent the holder from moving even without a laptop. There was no option to add a laptop. This makes it impractical to work as a laptop treadmill in my opinion.
